This policy describes how bananvideo.ru and the Save Video browser extension (the “Service”) handle data when you download a video from a link.

Data processed

When you start a download, the Service receives the video URL you selected. It is required to retrieve and prepare the file. Temporary files are stored for a limited time and deleted automatically.

Data we do not request

The Service does not request passwords or payment information. It does not read your browsing history or the contents of unrelated pages.

Service analytics

The website records compact technical events needed to monitor reliability, such as a started request, selected platform, completed download, or error category. Video links are not sent to the analytics counter.

Country-based language selection uses GeoLite2 data created by MaxMind. The locale response does not store or return your IP address.

Browser extension storage

The extension stores the Service address and current download job identifier locally in your browser. They leave your device only as part of the API request needed to perform the download.

Third parties

Submitted links are used to provide the requested download and are not sold. A source platform receives the network request required to retrieve the public media.
